yes, there's a 'what's your favorite song' contest at the pencilclub and I'm so into that song now. I wanted to express the movement, dynamics and power of that song, so I went with this abstract ascending idea.

wow... kudos for drawing a picture to a post-rock instrumental band for the contest.... when i listen to post-rock I usually just get emotions and feelings type of thoughts... so you putting something like that down on paper is pretty cool.....

thank you very much. I wanted to do a post-rock song for the contest so bad, because I love the style. however, I had a relatively hard time to express such a song with a pencil. it's difficult to find something that resembles the song, since you mostly have no clue of what it's about, apart from the thing that exactly emulating what the song/video is about would be pretty lame (if you knew what it's about). so the only way was to put down the dynamics and emotions^^ the song conveys, which wasn't too easy as well.
